SQIFF – Scottish Queer Film Festival and Accessibility Event
This weekend in Glasgow you can feast on films and documentaries at the Scottish Queer International Film Festival.
From 3rd – 7th October SQIFF will be showing films from independent film makers from across the world – and showcasing local talent too! It is inclusive, dynamic and as accessible a festival as I’ve seen – tickets are priced on a sliding scale and everything has been designed to make this event easy for all to attend.
The Scottish Queer Independent Film Festival aims to “screen movies that people might not otherwise get a chance to see and create inspiring and informative events alongside challenging inequality and barriers to accessing the arts”.
I’m super proud to be part of the Accessible Sex Toys Panel – On Friday 4th October from 6.30-7pm at Centre for Contemporary Arts, hosted by Luke and Jack (Scotland’s premier sex shop). We’ll discuss all things sex and kink with accessibility in mind with Producer and Founder of Creative Talent Connections, Claire Maguire, and Girl on The Net will be there to talk Audio Porn and how her site is designed to bring her hot sex words into your life – and we are all very grateful for that! Get your tickets here and join the conversation!
I’ll be talking about Ruby Glow and there will even be an exclusive peek and my newest toy – which I can’t even cope with how excited I am to finally be able to show off- but only face to face – my online friends, you’ll have to wait for now…
Here’s a wonderful blog by Luke and Jack on why accessibility and sex is so important.
Come on – jump in to SQIFF – can’t wait to see you there!
