So in July when all the Christmas decorations go up in the shops, I am devastated! I think, oh no – not yet – I’m not ready for the cold and dark… but by November I’m jumping up and down waiting for snow to fall and on the First of December, the tree is up – the lights are on and the mince pies are in the oven.  I especially love huddling around an open fire with a jolly tipple waiting for Old Mr Claus to come down the chimney and filly my stocking (ahem…) with tangerines and sixpences.

This year, I’m hoping that I’ve been a good enough girl to get a few goodies.
