Here’s to naked friends who share their time and exuberance with you and the world!

This post is for my friend Exposing 40 who has just announced she’s stepping away from her amazing photography project of the same name where she takes nude portraits of people in their 40s. We met at Eroticon many years ago and I fell in love with her verve and absolute passion for her art. And her sauciness at finding increasingly daring places to get her kit off!

She’s taken so many photos of so many people over the last ten years and I feel honoured to have been one of those.

This one is of me and Margot (another of my perpetually naked friends) in the woods in the summer when Exposing 40 and the lovely Maria Sibylla came to stay and play for the weekend.

I’ve been saving this photo for a special occasion – and it really feels right that this is it! A celebration of Exposing 40’s friendship and photography – and a final hoorah for the project coming to a glorious end.

Endings can be a beautiful thing.
