A goodbye snog for the Rev Victoria Blisse.

The beginning of January brought with it the very sad news of romance author and sex blogger Victoria Blisse passing away.

She was so young, so much love to give, with a deeply loving family and many many friends.

I met Victoria way back in 2013 at Eroticon and several of us erotica authors got together to form the Brit Babes – a saucy gang to share in helping promote our books and keep up the camaraderie.

Victoria used to host the Sunday Snog meme every week where bloggers and romance authors could link up and share their work in a blog hop. I always loved her blog catchphrase:

Join me and her friends on Friday 9th February for an evening remembering her joy, love and above all, smut as we share some readings of her work in an online event.

“Snuggle up at home with your favourite beverages and snacks,” an organiser said. “Dress up or wear PJs. Enjoy Victoria’s erotic stories, chosen and performed by her friends and fellow authors. These smutty works are filled with passion, love, and laughter – sure to bring warmth and amusement…”

Hosted by Alix Fox, there will be readings from friends of Victoria including Lucy Felthouse, Kay Jaybee, Stephanie Robb, Zak Jane Keir, Ashley Lister, and Renee Christine, with more expected to confirm.

Tickets cost £5 each and all proceeds will be donated to Vasculitis UK.
